SeriousEats.com - "Reminiscent of Rebel House itself, this dessert is whimsical and well-worth some adventurous exploration."

BarefootMailman.org - "...The food follows suit. The steak tartare has potato chips in it for a great, salty crunch. The 24-hour short rib comes with a red wine caramel sauce that makes you want to run a finger across the plate. The beet salad comes with a peppered port vinaigrette that I want on every salad I order...

But the recent review of the Rebel House in the Sun-Sentinel was stunningly off target. “At Boca Raton’s Rebel House, we cried, “less, less, less,’” read the subhead. John Tanasychuk’s article has to be one of the toughest reviews I’ve seen in years. He criticizes the concept, the execution, and the service.

In the end, he awards Rebel House one star out of four.

...But what he misses in this review is the basic food critic’s credo: When reviewing restaurants, the critic isn’t supposed to expect a place to offer the same food and service as the critic’s ideal restaurant. The point is to critique whether the restaurant succeeds at its goal, whether it executes the concept...

They created a menu unique in the 561 — hell, maybe in South Florida overall. They created a space that feels well planned yet comfortable. They created a place that deserves three more stars."

Broward Palm Beach New Times - "The meal felt more like hanging out on the periphery of a cool dinner party thrown at an artsy friend's loft rather than "dinner out on the town.""

South Florida Food And Wine Preview - "The rebel rousing shake up has begun. For all those restaurants playing it safe by serving pasta and meatloaf watch out, the Rebel House is going to sway diners with dishes that are bursting with flavors and combinations you haven’t even thought of..."

Palm Beach Post - "The owners of Charm City burgers and El Jefe Luchador, who clearly know about great food and great flair, have brought some much-needed urban punk to sanitized Boca Raton."

SoFla Foodie - "I should have been selfish and not written this blog, as I don’t want the word to get out to quickly . I would love to keep this place all to myself. With so many restaurants coming and going. Most a derivative of what has come before it, Saperstein and David have something truly special here."

Burger Beast - "And I say, pick 3 of your closest friends and head out to Rebel House. Order and share everything. But make sure you get the Mashed Potatoes with the Short Rib/Mushroom Gravy. That gravy deserves its own fan page on Facebook. I might even start it myself."
